Ride: Bartlett Lake >

Details: This will be something new for us. Bartlett promises some of the same kind of twists as Tortilla Flat but with less traffic, and also with some of the dusty hazards (Be advised). Many options on how to wind up this ride are available.

Ride: Tortilla Flat >

Details: A stand-by ride for us which will either be more, or possibly less appreciated depending on how we liked Bartlett last month. What is known is the stretch past the flat is usually clean and less traveled.

Ride: Winkleman Loop >

Details: Always a fun ride, especially with the road construction completed on the way to Globe, past Winkleman. There are options for the route home which, can be decided then.

Ride: Payson / Strawberry / Camp Verde>

Details: Meeting up with other Christian ride groups always seemed like something we should do from time to time. And May brings to us “The Run for the Son,” the Christian Motorcyclist Association's premier riding fund raiser. They'll be riding up the Beeline to Payson for a barbecue. After that, this weekend also presents “Route 66 Days,” an annual car and bike enthusiast event and an excellent ride to Winslow. Be ready for smooth turns and food that burns!

Ride: Wupataki Monument / Sunset Crater / Mormon Lake / Flagstaff >

Details: Another new route for us, which promises beautiful roads and new scenery. Bring your cameras!

Ride: The big one: Highway 191 and New Mexico ride >

Details: Definitely not for the beginner; this is the twistiest stretch of road in Arizona! Plus the road back into Arizona from New Mexico is one of the best sporting stretches of road around! Be sure to be rested and ready in bike and body. Bragging rights follows...

Details: The summer crowds should be thinning out by now and it shouldn't be that cool yet.

Ride: Salt River Canyon & Show Low >

Details: SRC always delights! We're taking a bit of a risk on cool temperatures, but SRC isn't quite that high. We’ll risk it.

Ride: Winkleman and to the right >

Details: Heading south at Winkleman will take us to Oracle Junction and Lupe's Mexican Cantina. For a change on the way home, Park Link Road has Some interesting turns, and sometimes cows (Be advised!).

Ride: Annual BBQ and South Mountain Ride>

Details: After our time of taking in the sights and roads of South Mountain, we’ll ride to Freestone Park in Gilbert for our annual burger burning with friends and family. Our reservation is for Knob Hill, which is on the opposite side of Date Palm circle and near the train depot (this may change as we get closer to December. Details will be found here prior to the event).

Directions To The Park: 1045 E. Juniper Rd in Gilbert (At the corner of Lindsay and Juniper Roads - between Guadalupe and Elliot Roads). Click HERE for a PDF map of the park (make note where Nob Hill is).

Details: A short ride for a cool month with lunch at a space program hold over, The Space Age Cafe. The route has some decent sweepers and turns in between Maricopa and Mobile.
